WinterJam heads to Michigan in March!

The spectacular line-up has been announced! Toby Mac, Matthew West, Red, NewSong, Jamie Grace, Sidewalk Prophets, Royal Tailor and speaker Nick Hall with a Pre-Jam Party that includes Jason Castro, OBB & Capitol Kings.
This is a show that you don't want to miss! And we can't do a show without our great volunteers!

Volunteer info:
Must be 17 & up.
Arrive no earlier than 30 minutes before stated volunteer arrival time (below).
Stay until 1 hr. after show ends if needed.
No children are allowed to work with volunteers. All children coming with volunteers will need to wait outside in line to enter.
Individual venue information will be sent prior to the event.
Dress comfortable and bring a serving heart. Volunteers may not get to see the show.
Volunteers are needed for merchandise sales, ushering, money taking & money sorting. Jobs will be assigned at volunteer orientation prior to the show. There are no guarantees that you will be able to work a particular job or with a particular person/group.

Family Life Radio is looking for 10 volunteers for each of these shows. You would need to arrive by 5:45 PM the day of the show. Volunteers would work the FLR table before the concert, during intermission, and after the concert handing out FLR resources and signing people up for a drawing. Must be outgoing and not shy to approach people.

Dress is business casual and you will be able to attend the concert for FREE.

Gospel Fest is a positive, family oriented music event that has been taking place for over 10 years in Saginaw featuring local artists who have earned national recognition. This year the festival will take place on Saturday, August 4th. Volunteers are needed for many areas including security, set-up, children's area and vendor assistance. AT GOSPEL FEST!

ROCK THE ISLAND - July 21st on Ojibway Island in Saginaw!

Once upon a time, not so long ago...actually I think it was January or so, a few Godly men had a vision of putting together an absolutely free event to reach the unsaved youth of the Saginaw area. God liked the idea too (since it was his anyways - lol) so he gave the same vision to another fellow who with his urging stepped out in faith and reserved Ojibway Island for this purpose without knowing that God had already began his work in these other men. Long story - short...it's happening! And it's happening fast! Many volunteers are needed in many areas including merhandise sales, set up crew, volunteer check in, prayer team, etc. The 5 year plan for this event is to grow to the size of Unity Festival on the west side of the state (in August in case you're interested) but be able to keep it free to attendees. Under the blessing and mentorship of Unity Festival it is moving forward and the area businesses, churches & community have opened their arms to support this event. Now we just need your help! We Cry Out Tour with Jeremy Camp & Francesa Battistelli May 6th in Grand Rapids

We Cry Out Tour with Jeremy Camp & Francesca Battistelli on Sunday, May 6th, 2012 at Sunshine Community Church in Grand Rapids. Help unload and load equipment for the show and then enjoy the show! If you can push wheeled trunks and do a little lifting we would love to have you come help. Load In starts at 1 PM, takes a couple of hours to empty the semi-trailers, then you are free to enjoy the show (starts at 6 PM so there's time to get a bite to eat). After the show (about 9 PM) we will need you to wheel all those trunks back on to the trailers. It's simple and a fun way to be behind the scenes. You will receive a few more details closer to the event as well as a reminder email or text.

Happy New Year 2012!

New! New! New! Every year brings new stuff! It's fun and exciting but it can be frustrating at the same time. I get a little anxious just thinking about all the changes that will happen in the next year. Along with this ministry's new name we will be trying out some things in hopes of improving our communication. Being a volunteer run ministry, we run on a volunteer budget - ha! ha! That pretty much means $0 comes in and so $0 goes out...makes our bookkeeping pretty simple! However it does come with it's drawbacks. Like having $0 to spend on services or equipment that might make things a little easier. So I am on a quest for finding free services that meet our needs. So please bear with me as I take a
few of these for a test drive this year. If you scroll below you will see the first experiment in the form of a click on link for signing up for the Rock and Worship Roadshow in Ypsilanti on 2/3. This is just one of  a few you may see this year. I also have purchased a website that I would like to incorporate this blog into. Unfortunately I have no idea how to build a site so I will be fumbling through this as well unless God sends me a geeky angel to take over the task (Please,please, please). So hang in there with me on this and feed back is always appreciated. I hope that this won't prove to be too annoying and that we will all be blessed by the changes.
