VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

- 30 volunteers needed for artist merchandise sales. You will be able to take breaks and see parts of the show. 

Requirements: Arrive by 4:30 PM  and able to stay until an hour after the show ends if needed. Age 14 & up. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Friendly smile. Able to make change.

-30 volunteers to help with Child Sponsorship Program (handing out information packets before show starts, during intermission and after show, as well as, manning table in lobby. Requires: Arrival by 4:30 PM, outgoing personality and ability to walk and stand. Age 12 & up.

-4 volunteers who can help with merchandise set up at 10 AM - 12:30 PM then after the show for tear down. Age 16 & up. You will be able to watch the show (no ticket needed). 

Requires: Go getter attitude and ability to do light lifting (50 lbs), walking and standing.

-15 people to help with unloading trailers, setting up stage, 9:00 AM - noon and then taking down stage and loading trailer immediately after show. You will be able to see the show (no ticket needed). Requires: heavy lifting, walking, standing, maybe a little sweat and teamwork attitude.

 Volunteers are needed.

-30 volunteers are needed for Food For the Hungry (Child Sponsorship Program) Arrive by 4:30 PM and able to stay until and hour after the show ends. Volunteers are expected to work before the show starts, intermission, 10 minutes before & after intermission, and 30 minutes after the concert ends. Age 11 & up. Requires outgoing personality, abilility to walk and stand.

-2-4 people who can help with merchandise set up at 10 AM - 12:30 & then after show tear down. Age 16 & up. You will be able to watch the show (no ticket required). A go getter attitude is needed and the ability to do light lifting (50 lbs).
No charge for parking or entry to the venue.

Areas will be assigned at orientation at 4 PM.

No charge for parking.
You will not see parts of the show.

Age 17 & up are needed. 

-20 volunteers are needed for artist merchandise sales. Arrive by 6:00 PM and able to stay until 1 hour after show ends if need. Requires a friendly smile, making change & standing.

-2-4 people who can help with merchandise set up at 10 AM - noon. Requires a go getter attitude, ability to do light lifting.

-30 people for Food For The Hungry to help concert goers sponsor a child in need for those who feel led to sponsor. Pass out sponsor pamphlets/etc...training will be simple and directed by a FFH representative from 6 PM - up to an hour after show ends if needed.

As always, a serving spirit, casual attire and happy heart are recommended!

Artists: NEWSBOYS-FAMILY FORCE 5-7EVENTH TIME DOWN
When: Sunday, November 9th, 2014
Where: Birch Run Expo Center (11600 North Beyer Road-Birch Run)
What are volunteers needed for:
Merchandise Set Up-Arrive by 10 AM to help with merchandise set up in lobby. Usually takes about 3 hours. Requires a go getter attitude, ability to do light lifting.
Merchandise Sales-Arrive by 4 PM, must be able to stay until an hour after the show ends if needed, complete transactions for artists merchandise. Requires a friendly smile, making change & standing.
Ushering-Arrive by 4 PM, must be able to stay until the end if needed. take tickets at door, assist attendees as needed. Requires a friendly smile and standing.
Pre-Show Party-Arrive by 3 PM and stay until area is cleaned up (approx. 7PM), supervise inflatables, games, and whatever else is going on, help clean up area once party is over. Party is from 5-6 PM. Requires a friendly smile, flexible attitude, outgoing personality and standing.
MUST be age 17 & up.

Volunteers will gain entry to show but not guaranteed to see the show. 
Dress casual & comfortable. 
A simple meal will be provided to all volunteers.
Parking for volunteers is free.

Volunteer info:
Must be 17 & up.
Arrive no earlier than 30 minutes before stated volunteer arrival time (below).
Stay until 1 hr. after show ends if needed.
No children are allowed to work with volunteers. All children coming with volunteers will need to wait outside in line to enter (tickets can be purchased online prior to the show or they can be purchased at the door, if not sold out).
Individual venue information will be sent prior to the event.
Dress comfortable and bring a serving heart. Volunteers may not get to see the show.
Volunteers are needed for merchandise sales, ushering, money taking & money sorting. Jobs will be assigned at volunteer orientation prior to the show. There are no guarantees that you will be able to work a particular job or with a particular person/group.
